The land is located in the department of Vinchina (ex- Gral. Sarmiento) in the province of La Rioja, and

it counts with an approximated surface 495.000 acres . It is bounded by el Portezuelo de la Punilla to the North (border with

the province of Catamarca) to the South by Vinchina fields; to the East by the range of Famatina (border with the Famatina

department); and to the West with mountains of Jagüel (today, mountains of El Toro Negro). - The nearest cities to the

field are: to the south, Villa San José de Vinchina (head of department, after which the department is located), about

18 km away from the South border (consolidated road); Villa Castelli and Villa Union, 38 km and 70 kms. away from Villa San

José de Vinchina respectively, all of them on asphalted route 40; the village of jagüel is 35 km. away towards

the east of Villa San José de Vinchina and on the same route, in direction to the pass to Chile, Pircas Blancas. The

great Valle Hermoso river goes all througout the land (affluent of Vinchinas river), This river is the collector of different

torrents and streams that descend from the mountains of El Toro Negro, and one from Famatina, and it carries a huge quantity

of water all the year. Mining resources: gold, silver, receive, lead, zinc, tin, tungsten, mica, uranium, barites, precious

stones, quartz, marbles, granites and limestone stone. Cattle resources: The pasturelands that grow naturally in the field

provide suitable fodder resources for the breeding goat, ovine, bovine and camel . Native fauna: It is naturally abundant and

in wild conditions. There are camel (vicunas, llamas and guanacos), rheas, hares, viscachas, pumas, wild cats, peccaries,

iguanas, corzuelas, gray foxes, skunks, quirquinchos, eagles, falcons, condors, pink flamencos, herons, stilts, etc.
